Carefully chosen fruit parcels were de-stemmed and crushed, and the juice was swiftly drawn off the skins to retain a soft pink hue. Cool stainless-steel fermentation and gentle lees stirring added finesse and palate weight. The
final blend was stabilised and filtered before bottling.
VINTAGE
Vintage 2025 commenced earlier than anticipated, with simultaneous ripening across varieties creating one of the most compact harvests in our history. Warm conditions through the season supported fruit development and lifted varietal character. The wines highlight excellent varietal flavour, showcasing vibrant, spicy reds and bright, aromatic whites.

Introducing Selection 23 Breeze – a lighter twist on our beloved Selection 23 wines. Designed for those who prefer a lower-alcohol option, ‘Breeze’ delivers the same flavour and quality you love, with a refreshingly lighter feel.*
We begin by crafting a full-strength wine, carefully selecting parcels with intense aromas and flavours. Then, we gently reduce the alcohol to the desired level of 8.0-9.5%, without using heat or harsh processes that might compromise the wine. This allows the aromas and flavours to truly shine.
The Selection 23 Breeze range looks, smells, and tastes just like wine should, but in a lighter, more delicate style – offering a relaxed, enjoyable sip, perfect for any time of day or night. So, if you’re looking to reduce your alcohol intake while still enjoying a delicious glass of wine, Selection 23 Breeze strikes the perfect balance.
The front label of Selection 23 Breeze beautifully mirrors the artistic interpretation of the Zilzie property depicted on our Selection 23 labels – but with a softer, more delicate touch, just like the wine.
